Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
This policy explains how Reaction Time Test handles information on the website and in the Android and iOS apps: what stays on your device, what we collect, and how to delete it.
What this policy covers
This page is the privacy policy for:
- The website at testyourreactiontime.com
- The Android app Reaction Time Test (package
com.testyourreactiontime) - The iOS app Reaction Time Test (bundle ID
com.testyourreactiontime) for iPhone and iPad
Website
The following applies when you use the website in a browser.
Information we collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit personal information from the tests. Results stay in your browser's localStorage and do not leave your device.
How your data is stored
Test results, personal bests, and preferences are stored on your device. They are not sent to our servers or to third parties. You can clear this data through your browser settings or the Dashboard page.
Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of essential cookies for basic site functions such as theme preference (light or dark). We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not do behavioral or cross-site tracking.
Analytics
The website may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Cloudflare Analytics) to see general usage patterns. That data is aggregated and anonymous. We cannot identify individual users from it. The Android and iOS apps do not use this analytics.
Third-party services
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect anonymous usage data as part of running that service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details. This does not apply to the Android or iOS apps.
Android app
This section covers the Android app Reaction Time Test (package com.testyourreactiontime).
What we store on your device
The app saves session results, achievements, streak, and settings in the app's private storage on your phone.
What we collect
In the current version we collect nothing. There is no account, no analytics SDK, no advertising ID, and no crash-reporting service that uploads data. The app does not use the internet permission, so it cannot upload your results by itself.
Ads
The current version does not show ads. If we add advertising in a future update, we will update this privacy policy and the Google Play Data safety form before that version is published.
Backups
Cloud backup of your scores is turned off in the app. If you use Android's phone-to-phone transfer when you switch devices, your local history may copy with your other apps. You start that transfer yourself. This app does not upload it.
Sharing
Export files and share images are created only when you tap Export or Share. They go to a temporary cache folder and then to the app you choose (for example Messages or Photos).
Deleting your data
Use Clear all data in Settings or Profile to remove sessions, achievements, and streak. Uninstalling the app also removes app data on that device.
iOS app
This section covers the iOS app Reaction Time Test (bundle ID com.testyourreactiontime) for iPhone and iPad, available on the App Store.
What we store on your device
The app saves session results, achievements, streak, and settings in the app's private storage on your device. That store is excluded from iCloud and computer backup.
What we collect
In the current version we collect nothing. There is no account, no analytics SDK, no advertising identifier, no tracking, and no crash-reporting service that uploads data. The app does not send your results anywhere by itself.
Ads
The current version does not show ads. If we add advertising in a future update, we will update this privacy policy and the App Store privacy labels before that version is published.
Microphone, camera, and location
The app does not use the microphone, camera, or location. Auditory tests play short tones through the device speaker. They do not record sound.
Photos
If you share a result and choose Save Image, iOS may ask for permission to add an image to Photos. The app never reads your photo library.
Sharing and export
Export files and share images are created only when you tap Export or Share. They go to a temporary folder and then to the app you choose.
Deleting your data
Use Clear all data in Settings or Profile to remove sessions, achievements, and streak. Uninstalling the app also removes app data on that device.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The App Store age rating is 4+.
Your rights
- Results stay on your device. We do not have a copy.
- On the website, clear data from browser settings or the Dashboard.
- In the Android or iOS app, use Clear all data in Settings or Profile, or uninstall the app.
- You can export results from the website Dashboard or from either app when you choose Export.
- No account is required on the website or in the apps.
Children's privacy
The website and the apps do not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new revision date.
